Meet our newest WOL Coach: Konstanze Kampfer

I only recently began working Konstanze and our collaboration is already seamless, creative, and fun.

She wrote to me about the importance “self-efficacy, connection, and safe learning spaces” in her work, and I knew she would make a good WOL Coach.

For each new Coach, I ask three questions so you can get to know them and their motivations. (You can also visit Konstanze’s WOL Coach profile on workingoutloud.com, connect with her on LinkedIn, or reach her directly at konstanze.kampfer@posteo.de.)

I admire Konstanze’s candor, her positive energy, and her ambitious aspirations.

And I can’t wait to see what she does with WOL.

1. Please share 5 facts about you so people get to know you.

  1. I’m a very fast thinker and often need to slow myself down so others can follow my thoughts. I like to imagine I’m driving a car and deliberately shifting into a lower gear to match the pace of the group.

  2. I’m a positive thinker with a natural ability to motivate and inspire others— maybe in my next life i become a saleswoman. ;-)

  3. I’m fascinated by complex topics such as climate change, AI, and global crises. I enjoy the challenge of breaking them down and making them understandable for everyone.

  4. Music plays a big role in my life. I play the accordion and the piano, and fun fact: I perform with a school orchestra, called YOUNG BAND, and feel completely at home being back in a school environment surrounded by teenagers.

  5. I truly love food. I enjoy healthy eating—yes, salad for breakfast and dinner—but I also have a soft spot for energy drinks, an ice-cold Coke, and sour candy.

2. What positive difference do you aspire to make?

I aspire to create real and lasting impact. This is why I founded my startup, KONKA IMPACT. I know that the difference is not only in the content, but in me as the driver—in the way I facilitate, coach, and connect with people.

My mission is to save lives. And by that, I don’t only mean protecting people through better disaster prevention and preparedness . I mean strengthening resilience—helping people adapt to climate change, digital transformation, and rapidly changing working environments. I support individuals in becoming more self-aware and increasing their sense of self-efficacy, empowering them to think more positively, take responsibility, and also accept what cannot be changed. This, too, is a crucial life skill.

I enjoy working across generations. With children and teenagers, I foster creativity, curiosity, and confidence, encouraging exploration of new technologies such as virtual reality and helping them feel proud of whom they are. Young professionals i coach in their career development, and I support experienced professionals in discovering their true purpose at work—and finding the courage to start something new. With older generations, I open up access to artificial intelligence, empowering them to participate in—and benefit from—technological progress rather than being left behind.

I love challenging people to think outside the box. And I truly believe that if you manage to save even one life—or help just one person grow stronger and more resilient—it is already worth everything.

3. Why Working Out Loud®?

Because real change happens through connection, trust, and shared learning. Working Out Loud® creates exactly the kind of environment I believe in: people supporting each other, learning openly, and growing together with intention.

Working Out Loud® strengthens self-efficacy, resilience, and clarity of purpose—qualities that are essential in times of climate change, digital transformation, and constant uncertainty. It helps people make their work visible, build meaningful relationships, and take small, courageous steps toward what truly matters to them.

For me, Working Out Loud® is more than a method. It’s a mindset that empowers people to take responsibility for their own development, to collaborate generously, and to create impact—not alone, but together.
