Meet our newest WOL Coach: Annette Ludwig

I first met Annette at an informal meet-up in Frankfurt Airport and we hit it off immediately. From the beginning I could feel her positive energy and passion for learning.

Later, when I looked up her profile on LinkedIn and saw a quote from one of my favorite teachers, I knew we would get along beautifully.

“The best way to take care of the future is to pay close attention to the present.” Thích Nhất Hạnh („Die beste Weise, sich um die Zukunft zu kümmern, besteht darin, sich sorgsam der Gegenwart zuzuwenden.“)

Annette is a professional trainer with decades of experience, and with each call we generate new ideas for how she might use WOL to help people grow and connect.

For each new WOL Coach, I ask three questions so you can get to know them and what drives them. You can also visit Annette’s WOL Coach profile on workingoutloud.com. Or connect with her on LinkedIn or at al@chillax-mainz.de.

I am convinced Annette will be a great Coach, and I can’t wait to see what she does with WOL!

1. Please share 5 facts about you so people get to know you.

  1. Passionate Learning Professional: One of my goals is to implement a real Learning Culture in my Company. Where people enjoy to grow in a fast changing world, have fun while learning and collaborate on eye level based on trust.

  2. Organize Queen: Whatever needs to be planned I have my checklist ready. And a perfect plan works out if you can easily change it to B.

  3. A Survivor (I actually survived a plan crash): I truly cherish life. Death is just a start of something Other but until then… I think that's where my positivity and resilience came from. I try to live my best and contribute to Life and the World to make it a Great Place.

  4. I love Gardening, Plants, Trees: Being in Nature calms me and resets my energy. I grew up in a very down to earth style.

  5. Always curious and hungry to learn : I started sailing last year. I got my license for Sailing/Motoryacht and at the moment I’m learning how to RADIO and navigate at night with stars. I will be on my first sailing cruise together with my 16 year old daughter in June: Hamburg - Helgoland - Hamburg...and you know what, I love the ocean - but I do not like swimming! ;-).

2. What positive difference do you aspire to make?

TBD!

3. Why WOL?

It just makes sense and it works!  I am a little bit sad, that I only tried out a WOL Circle on my own a few months ago. But as we say...its never too late!
