A new WOL Coach Program coming in 2026.

This week, a woman in Hamburg wrote to me about her WOL Circle:

“I am grateful for this life-changing experience.”

My guess is that “life-changing” isn’t about any single exercise. It’s about the feelings that arise in a Circle:

  • A sense of self-efficacy as, week by week, you take small steps toward your goal

  • Connection and belonging as you support others and feel supported in return

  • The safety of a confidential space where you can show up as your authentic self and dare to try new things

Her message reminded me why Circles matter, and it motivates me to answer the question:

How can more people have this experience?

It led me to begin shaping a new WOL Coach program: A way to equip more people to form Circles and innovate with WOL, bringing this kind of growth and connection into organizations, communities, and their own work.

Who the program is for

The new Coach program might be for you if:

  • You are an independent coach or sidepreneur

  • You have been in a Circle and know that WOL works

  • You want to help people and teams make more of all they have to offer

  • You want to help people feel the same confidence and connection that the woman in Hamburg described

What you’ll be able to offer your clients

As a WOL Coach, you can:

  • Integrate three proven WOL methods into your business (WOL Careers (the original method), WOL for Teams, and WOL Resilience)

  • Offer WOL Circles, workshops, and other value-added services

  • Provide a structured, human approach to learning, growing, and connecting

The goal is to help you expand what you can offer, and help more people experience the benefits of WOL.

What you will receive as a WOL Coach

The program includes:

  • One-on-one training and support from me (or from Katharina Krentz if you prefer German — she’s wonderful!)

  • Monthly live community calls for continued learning and real case discussions

  • Ongoing support by email whenever you need it

  • Promotion of you and your business on the WOL website and LinkedIn

  • The ability to earn a return on your certification with just a few Circles

  • The opportunity to do meaningful, purpose-driven work aligned with why you originally became a coach

My aim is to ensure you feel well prepared, well supported, and part of a community.

Why this matters

This program won’t be for everyone, and it’s still taking shape as I talk with more people.

But WOL Circles remain one of the few spaces where I consistently see humans at their best—learning, growing, connecting. Together. And I believe the world needs more of this. A lot more.

If you’d like to learn more

If you think becoming a WOL Coach might be right for you or someone you know, please write me at john.stepper@workingoutloud.com.

I’d love to talk with you and explore, together, all you might create with WOL.

One of the very earliest Circles. I love this photo as it shows how WOL Circles build good will and meaningful relationships in addition to new skills and mindsets.
