Tim Beckmann

Tim Beckmann is a Director eGov Solutions DACH and has a background in sales and consulting in the software business. In his early days he learned the job as a typesetter. After studying economic engineering for print he did a couple of consultant and sales roles in different companies.

In these days he is responsible for the DACH market to implement queue management systems for the public sector for a Danish company. The Danish influence since 2022 is really important for his actual way of working.

Tim believes strongly in the connections of people and that the power of network is really important to understand. He has seen so many technologies coming, but at the end of the day, the business is done by humans and that will be hopefully stay for all time.

The first contact to WOL was the first conference in Stuttgart 2017 and Tim was really touched by the energy in the rooms of the Wizemann location. After 2 try’s in the Sparkassenverlag the third try with WOL was a big success. He enabled a framework-contract for WOL in the saving bank group and also made the mentor education with Sabine and Alexander Kluge and of course with John Stepper. He also implemented the mentor education in the saving bank group. Then he was participating in the first WOL FrauenStärken circle, covered also the WOL-Meetup in Stuttgart, made a first try with WOL in the public sector and the organization KGSt.

For Tim will always the people make the difference and especially in these days the connection to the people is so important. And of course he is still hungry to get in touch with new interesting and inspiring people. Come on – let’s do a WOL circle!
