Jan Köster is an Executive Coach, Transformation Consultant, and Organizational Developer at Judith Andresen’s consultancy. With over ten years of leadership experience in corporate structures—most recently as Vice President of Transformation at RTL Deutschland / Gruner + Jahr—he guides organizations on their journey toward becoming learning, resilient, and strength-oriented systems.

He implements authentic, sustainable change within organizations, teams, and individuals. To achieve this, he develops tailored transformation architectures, making change both predictable and actionable, or formulates targeted experiments. He supports executives and organizations as a coach, sparring partner, and advisor, anchoring both structural and cultural development within the organization.

In his work, he combines systemic thinking, agile methodologies, strength-based leadership, and modern tools and technologies—from Post-its to GPT. He has designed and implemented transformation processes for agile working, shared-desk environments, leadership culture shifts, merger integrations, and the introduction of AI-supported work models. Throughout these processes, he iteratively adapts working methods, locations, and collaboration styles to meet evolving requirements.

Jan Köster views transformation not as a project with an end date, but as a shared journey. His approach is shaped by three principles rooted in his background in scouting:

As a certified Working Out Loud (WOL) Coach, Jan anchors WOL as a powerful format for relationship building, self-organization, and collaborative learning—particularly within transformation processes, leadership development, and onboarding. Additionally, he was involved in the development of WOL Strengths, which specifically focuses on potential fulfillment and strength-based development. He combines Working Out Loud with the model of learning teams, agile work, and the targeted development of corporate cultures.
